So long, thanks for all the fish!

In January 2015, I started dAudio with the idea of building a music studio, working with talented musicians, and making records.

Almost twelve years later, and with mixed emotions, I think it is finally time to call it a day.

Over those years, dAudio grew into much more than I originally imagined. I went deeper into the music industry than I ever expected to, setting up record labels, working with dozens of incredibly talented artists, musicians and creatives, building studios, producing records, starting projects, trying ideas, changing direction more than once, learning a ridiculous amount, and somehow turning something I loved into a business that lasted for more than a decade.

There have been plenty of highs, plenty of difficult periods, and more than a few moments where I wondered why the hell I am doing this. But taken as a whole, I am proud of what dAudio became and, more importantly, of the work that came out of it and the people I met along the way.

So, as of August 2026, I will no longer be working under the dAudio Music Group brand and by 2027 I expect this to be an archived project. So, you can watch everything we did on our YouTube channel for a while longer.

This site will remain online for the time being as I gradually wind things down behind the scenes, but I will not be taking on new work through dAudio.

It is a bittersweet decision. When something has been part of your life for nearly twelve years, it becomes difficult to separate the business from everything else that happened alongside it. But I also know when it is time for something to change.

And this is a change, rather than an ending.

Music is still very much part of my life. If anything, I want to make more of it. The difference is that I am returning my attention to being an artist and record producer through Xander Warren, rather than running a business built around helping everybody else make their music.

For a long time, my own work has existed somewhere between everything else. Client projects, deadlines, and other people's records came first. Somewhere along the way, the thing that made me want to do all of this in the first place became the thing I had the least time for.

I would like to change that.

I will still produce, collaborate and work with other artists when the right projects come along, but much more deliberately. I want music to feel creative again rather than simply being another service I provide.

Twelve years is a long chapter, and I am forever grateful to everyone who has been part of it. Every artist who trusted me with a song, every musician who came through the studio, every person who supported something I built, bought something, recommended me, collaborated with me, or simply followed along.

Thank you.

Whatever comes next will probably look quite different.

And I think I am ready for that.
