Birmingham based artist Holly Fitzgerald writes brooding cinematic folk-pop inspired by artists such as Beirut & Florence and the Machine.
Her latest single, released on November 15th 2019, tackles difficult, and sometimes dark, subject material with a dynamic folk-esque and catchy pop-inflected sound.
This latest piece of music is all tied together with Holly’s silky voice and raw, emotional performance.

Throughout this year, Holly has had wide support from local radio. She has performed live on several stations including BBC West Midlands, WCR, BCR and Brum Radio.
She also gained international support from stations in America and Australia, with Banks Radio highlighting her as a sound of 2019.

Holly has performed live across several key venues in the midlands.
2019 saw special performances at the O2 Academy, The Glee Club, as well as the Birmingham Music Awards’ Grand Summer Party.
Plus, Holly has also been at a number of different festivals and opened the Lock Stock Festival’s main stage.
Contributing to the local scene, she has collaborated with numerous artists, including Birmingham based rapper T8PES.
But, she is always working on her music and has headed back into the studio to record brand new material ready for release across this year and into the future.
